Engadget WiiFit Experiement

Engadget conducted an experiment when the WiiFit came out to see if by using it, you can actually shed pounds.

Test Subject: Mickey DeLorenzo

After 45 days, he managed to shed a full 15 pounds, or about 2.56 pounds a week, and he dropped his body fat % from 20.8% to 18.4%. Of course, DeLorenzo admits that doing anything involving movment an extra 60 minutes a day will result in some weight loss, but he seems pretty sold on the benefits of Wii Fit, saying that it made it "especially easy" to work the training into his daily life.

I have to say...Engadget it pretty realiable with their information, and i believe that this can actually work for some people. What do you think? Is this a Shamockery or are you a little closer to buying the WiiFit

CELTICS WIN IT ALL

The Celtics beat the Lakers with the score of 131-92 in a game 6 battle in Boston. They won every quarter in the game and killed. I wasn't in the house to see it but I'm sure that it was a live ass game. I proud of these dudes, they came a long way since last season and if there's one person that deserves this trophy, it's Garnett.

I met a girl from Boston at the Remy Event, forgot her name though.

Spider Man in NYC

Today at around Noon, two French climbers attempted to climb the New York Times Building. One started about 12:30pm and he started it but was foiled and then at around 6, his partner started climbing. 

This is crazy, they were climbing with no hooks or nothing. Only to get wrapped up and proly get they ass beat later in the tombs

2008 NBA Finals

So tonight is the first game of the NBA Finals.

  Celtics and Lakers. This is just like the good ol days, Bird and Magic, Afros and hookshots and when all was important was winning chips and making sure ur shorts were hella high.

Im going for the Celtics to win it all. Kobe is nice but i gotta roll wit Boston this time.

Death of The Hum-V

Due to the Recession and the raging gas prices, GM has reported that they will most likely be shutting down the Hummer Line. They have already started shutting down the SUV plants there will probably be less trucks on the market. GM's new focus will be on smaller vehicle which are gas effiecient or Green.

The Luck Of the Irish

The Celtics did it. They defeated the Detroit Pistons, 89 - 81, to win the Eastern Conference Championship. They wil now go one to face the Lakers for the whole Shibang, lol. Who do you think is going to win it all??

Im rooting for these guys to go all the way. Boston have to redeem themselves for the Pats losing the perfect season to the Giants. (I know i sound like a turncoat but.. that was some BS, lol)

Another Crane Collapse

Damn, there's been another crane collapse, this time on the upper east side at 91st and 1st Avenue. I turn on the tv to NY1 to check the weather and there confusion and firefighters going thru rubble looking for survivors and clearing debris.

It is reported that this is property of the same crane the collapse a couple of months ago. And they just had a inspection at that site and it was cleared to go.

I'm definately running thru the blocks I see with cranes now. Cuz when it comes crashing down, there's nothing faster than a pyyyuunnn. Lol as my man Maino says

Guess Who's Coming to Brooklyn

Thats right IKEA is coming to to the Red Hook section of Brooklyn. This is one of my favorite store to get the house right. Im going there that saturday to spend a buck or two. No more having to go out to Jersey and paying tolls and shit, lol.
